First Time Visitor?

What You Can Expect on Sunday at 9am?

When you walk in, you'll be welcomed by one of our Greeters, who will let you know where to find things like the restrooms and invite you to stick around after church for coffee and snacks. As you go up the steps, an Usher will welcome you and hand you a bulletin with the order

of the service and current church news. In the sanctuary, you'll see our Tracker Pipe Organ on the right and choir loft on the left. Have a seat where you like; if you can't find a seat, one of our ushers will be happy to help you. Our Sunday service is "Liturgical", which means it follows an outline or order of worship. The bulletin fits into the back cover of your hymnal with an outline, showing you which page you can find the service and letting you know which hymns we'll be singing. You'll quickly learn that Lutherans love to sing in worship, from congregational hymns to choir anthems. The Sunday service usually lasts about 65-70 minutes; after worship, you may greet the Pastor on your way down to the Fellowship Hall to enjoy complementary coffee, tea, and snacks. Pastor always appreciates feedback and your "First Impressions" - please feel free to fill out a guest card and he'll send you an email with a few quick questions so you can let him know about your worship experience.

Holy Communion & Seasonal Worship

We celebrate the Lord's Supper weekly (with the exception of the 5th Sunday of the month where we follow a different order of worship.) We believe in the words of our Lord; namely, "this is my body... this is my blood," (Christ is truly present in the sacrament-not symbolically) and "given and shed to forgive your sins." The Lord's Supper is offered to repentant sinners who desire to be forgiven, trust in the words & promise of Christ and desire to be part of our fellowship.  If you have questions about our celebration of the Lord's Supper or would like to know who may received, please contact our Pastor at 585-624-1766.
