Updated Coronavirus Response-as of 10/05/2021:

Due to increasing cases of COVID-19 Variants, the following changes are made to strengthen the precautions in place at St. Mark to protect all who enter and use our premises:

  • All who enter any St. Mark facility are required to be masked at all times while in the facility. Masking shall fully cover nose, mouth and chin, and applies to everyone, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated.
  •  Social distancing guidelines remain in place, including the use of every other pew in church and maintaining 6 feet of distance.

Your leadership is closely monitoring the changing conditions and acting responsibly for our collective well-being.

Is the church open for in-peron worship?  Yes, we welcome you to worship this Sunday at 9am.  All services are also live-streamed on Facebook: https://facebook.com/stmarkmendon. You'll also find previous weeks' services on the green column on the right side of home page of this site. Offerings are received at the door rather than by collection during the service.  Giving envelopes are available for those who wish to mail in a gift, and electronic giving is also an option included wiht a QR code link o our bulletin cover.  For links, please contact our church secretary and specify for which group or event you'd like a link:  secretary@stmarkmendon.org

Is the building safe?  As per CDC guidelines to reduce the risk of transmission-in addition to requiring masks and social distancing-our custodian disinfects hard surfaces such as door handles, stairway rails and pews between weekly services.  Bathrooms likewise are disinfected.

Is there a touch-free option?  Our hymnals have been removed from the church in favor of print copies of the service with hymns & announcements; however, if you prefer touch-free, a QR code in the lobby allows you to download the service to your smartphone or tablet.  Documents are also sent out by email each week; please contact the church office to be added to the list.  Holy Communion is celebrated each week; worshipers may pick up a prefilled, sealed communion cup and wafer on the way into church. A small bag is provided for disposal.
